From 13 to 16 September 2021 Daniele Antezza (Dadub/Inner8) was a guest in residency of the R. Gervasio Auditorium in Matera, housed in the evocative San Francesco hypogeum. Daniele conceived a project called STRATA Inspired by iterative processes of rock sedimentation. STRATA was articulated through intensive sessions of electro-acoustic improvisation and field recordings captured in the unique natural scenarios of Matera, where the musicians Angelo Manicone (wind instruments) and Tommaso Di Marzio (percussions) was plunge into the electronic textures created by Daniele Antezza, supported by the young sound designer Gianmaria dell’Aera.
